Инактивация вирусов ускоренными электронами: перспективы и вызовы создания противовирусных вакцин

Аннотация

Технология инактивации вирусов ускоренными электронами (УЭ) для разработки и производства инактивированных противовирусных вакцин активно развивается в мире. Использование УЭ, это успешная альтернатива традиционным химическим методам инактивации, которая позволяет подобрать условия облучения для полной деградации вирусного генома при сохранении антигенных иммуногенных эпитопов. В данном обзоре рассмотрены физические особенности УЭ, их механизм инактивация вирусов, а также рассмотрены примеры разрабатываемых противовирусных вакцин для человека и животных. Отдельно рассмотрены методы оценки структурно-биохимических свойств вирусных частиц, инактивированных УЭ. Развитие технологии облучения вирусов УЭ требует разработки ускорителей электронов, удовлетворяющие требованиям как радиационной, таки вирусной безопасности. Радиорезистентностью некоторых вирусов также является ограничением, которое должно быть преодолено для успешного создания вакцинных противовирусных препаратов.
